The reporter learned from the State Administration for Market Regulation that in accordance with the "Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China", "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests" and "Interim Measures for the Administration of Product Quality Supervision and Random Inspection", the State Administration for Market Regulation comprehensively analyzed and judged the product quality and safety situation, and fully listened to the opinions and suggestions of all walks of life, organized and formulated the "2020 National Product Quality Supervision and Random Inspection Plan", which was released on May 8.

The State Administration for Market Regulation said in the announcement that in 2020, the national supervision and random inspection of product quality will adhere to the people's livelihood-oriented and problem-oriented, unify production and circulation, online and offline supervision, and spot check the products that the people care about and the decline in quality and safety level, and focus on testing indicators involving human health and personal and property safety.

A total of 131 products were included in the spot check program. Among them, there are 15 kinds of daily use and textiles, 30 kinds of electronic and electrical products, 16 kinds of light industrial products, 19 kinds of construction and decoration materials, 2 kinds of agricultural production materials, 20 kinds of machinery and security products, 7 kinds of electrical and material products, and 22 kinds of food-related products.

Among the 30 kinds of electronic appliances planned to be supervised and inspected, there are 22 kinds of household appliances such as refrigerators, room air conditioners, household electric washing machines, storage electric water heaters, heat pump water heaters (devices), power adapters, active speakers, color televisions, liquid crystal displays, and mobile power supplies, as well as fixed general lamps, LED control devices, and self-ballasted LED lamps and lamps.

Among the 16 kinds of light industrial products that are planned to be supervised and inspected, there are 3 kinds of household gas appliances: household gas rapid water heaters, household gas stoves, and gas heating water heaters.

Among the two types of agricultural production materials that are planned to be supervised and inspected, in addition to compound fertilizers, there are also pump products used as agricultural machinery.

Among the 20 kinds of machinery and security products planned to be supervised and inspected, there are 9 kinds of vehicle-related products, including automotive urea aqueous solution, motor vehicle brake fluid, motor vehicle external lighting and light signal devices, motorcycle occupant helmets, automobile seat belts, automobile tires, automotive interior materials, automobile brake linings, and brake hoses; There are 6 kinds of safety technology prevention products for hazardous chemical packaging (steel drums), hazardous chemical packaging (metal drums, cans), and hazardous chemical packaging (aerosol packaging).

Among the seven kinds of electrical and material products that are planned to be supervised and inspected, there are four kinds of low-voltage electrical appliances and electrical accessories for household and similar uses, such as residual current action circuit breakers for household and similar purposes, overcurrent protection circuit breakers for household and similar places, distribution boards, extension cord sockets (with power adapters), as well as wire ropes, rubber sealing products and wires and cables.

The State Administration for Market Regulation will publicly release the results of national supervision and random inspections of product quality to the public, and deal with violations of laws and regulations on product quality in accordance with the law. While carrying out national supervision and spot checks as planned, the State Administration for Market Regulation will also adjust the content of the plan as appropriate according to the actual situation of the work, and organize special supervision and spot checks on unplanned products.
