Recently, it was reported that Huawei will release a new HUAWEI HiCharger DC fast charging module on April 24, as one of Huawei's fast-growing product lines, Huawei's network energy product line covers four areas: data center energy, communication energy, smart photovoltaic and smart electric. Among them, Huawei Intelligent Electric is committed to building high-quality and high-standard vehicle electrification solutions, providing components such as charging and power supply, electronic control, and battery management. The upcoming HUAWEI HiCharger DC fast charging module will be used as a new energy charging infrastructure solution, and will be in deep cooperation with many departments across the country, including State Grid (Beijing), Star Charging (Changzhou), China Southern Power Grid Electric (Shenzhen), China Commercial Sanyou (Beijing), Zhuhai Titan (Zhuhai), and Dalian Robinson (Dalian).

As the core component of the charging pile, the DC fast charging module is the key to the stability and reliability of the entire charging station. According to Tramway, Huawei's DC fast charging module has the advantages of high power density, high efficiency, high reliability, and low noise, and the average annual failure rate (0.6%) is much lower than the industry average (3%~5%), which can effectively reduce the quality problems of charging piles, reduce potential safety hazards, and greatly reduce the life cycle operation and maintenance costs of operators and pile enterprises. On March 4, 2020, at a meeting held by the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, it was clearly pointed out that the construction progress of infrastructure construction should be accelerated, of which new energy vehicle charging piles are an important part. From the deployment at the central level to the cumulative promotion of various places, this year's charging pile construction market has shown signs of fire. The State Grid officially launched a new round of charging pile construction on April 14, planning to arrange an investment of 2.7 billion yuan in the construction of charging piles, and 78,000 new charging piles, with projects distributed in 24 provinces (cities) such as Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Hunan, and Qinghai, covering public, private, logistics, sanitation, community and port shore power. Among them, there are 53,000 charging piles in residential areas, 18,000 public charging piles, 7,000 special charging piles, and 150 shore power facilities. Make up for the shortcomings of the industry such as the difficulty of charging in residential areas and the lack of platform interconnection, and take scientific and technological innovation and deepening reform as the driving force to create a demonstration model, drive the co-construction, co-operation and sharing of social capital, and achieve high-quality development. According to estimates, it can drive the consumption of new energy vehicles to more than 20 billion yuan. In addition, according to the website of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, in the next four years, China Southern Power Grid will invest 25.1 billion yuan in the construction of charging facilities, build 150 large-scale centralized charging stations, and 380,000 charging piles, more than 10 times the existing number. It is estimated that it will effectively drive the investment of about 200 billion yuan in power grid construction, component and equipment manufacturing, operation and maintenance, vehicle sales and after-sales service and other related industries.
